I agree with all of this (and rarely speak my mind for fear of being branded a Trump supporter -- which I aggressively am NOT) EXCEPT for one thing: this consiracy angle. I agree they want to cover their tracks at this point but it's because it shows them to have been mistaken at best or incompetent fools at worst. It's a simple matter of not admitting to a mistake (there's a lot of that in the WH right now). We're looking at the keystone cops leading the pandemic response -- not sinister cabal. And this is how you know: this pandemic response benefits no one, right or left. It's a disaster for everyone. I would consider revising the conspiracy stuff, because otherwise, you've got a very strong piece here, IMO.
