Agree with almost all of what you said and agree with ALL of the spirit of it (SVB and the regulators can go f themselves), but it would be better to adhere very strictly to the facts AND to not be misleading (the truth is bad enough, no need to enhance it). When you ask "guess where the shareholders kept their money?" you strongly imply that SVB shareholders did not lose. This is misleading. Plenty of SVB shareholders lost 100% of their SVB investment. IF they were also depositors, yes, they did not lose their deposits. If your argument is that they should ALSO have lost their deposits ON TOP OF their shares since they had excessive influence on management and so forth, I think that's a completely legitimate argument and one I can get behind but then go ahead and make that argument. Don't be slippery with the truth. Even just a little bit. Yes, it matters.
